CAIRNS PHYSIOTHERAPISTS

Our team are committed to providing accessible physiotherapy services. These are available at our Cairns clinics and Cooktown clinic, or via remote access video consultations. We offer treatment to referred DVA clients and Medicare clients on chronic disease management plans (EPCs) and NDIS. Health rebates offered via HiCaps.

YOUR SESSION

A typical physiotherapy session will last for 30 minutes. In that time, we’ll discuss your situation and complete a tailored physical assessment, followed by hands on treatment and re-assessment, so you can observe improvements. You’ll be given an explanation of your pain and symptoms, including any predisposing bio-mechanical, strength or other issues which you may have.

OUR TREATMENT

During treatment with our Cairns physiotherapists, you will be shown some exercises and/or techniques, to help to ease your pain. These will be tailored to your particular circumstances and will help to restore strength and movement, as needed. Wellness Embodied may also utilise taping, medical acupuncture and other modalities, depending on the client and their needs. Each case is different.

PATHWAYS FORWARD

We don’t believe most people need physiotherapy treatment forever and we won’t tell you that you do. Our team of Cairns physiotherapists believe in providing patients with the best possible information, care and advice. This is based on years of study, clinical experience and the latest research. We work with you to create sustainable pathways forward to health and wellbeing.
