Casual Receptionist Staff - perfect for a Physio or Health Student

Are you studying Physiotherapy, Exercise Science, Health Science or a related field and looking for casual work in a health-focused environment?

Wellness Embodied is looking for a friendly, organised and reliable casual reception team member to join our multidisciplinary clinics in Cairns.

This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a busy healthcare setting, while working alongside Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Osteopaths and Massage Therapists.

What you’ll be doing:

Welcoming clients and providing friendly customer service
Managing appointments, bookings and enquiries
Supporting the smooth running of our clinics
Assisting clients with our mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy service (full training provided)
Helping with general administration and clinic systems
Working across our two Cairns locations

We’re looking for someone who is:

Can work in a fast-paced environment
Friendly, professional and genuinely enjoys helping people
Organised, reliable and attentive to detail
Confident communicating with clients and a team
Keen to learn and gain experience in a clinical environment
Preferably currently studying Physiotherapy, Exercise Science, Health Science or a related field

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS

We have an opening for an Occupational Therapist. In this role you will see predominately NDIS clients, for either intervention and/or report writing, working in clinic and home visits. You’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills and contribute to our unique Concussion clinic and Dizzy clinic, through cognitive retraining, management of sensory issues and more. The requirements of this full-time role is to be qualified Occupational Therapy: 1 year (preferred), AHPRA registration (preferred) and Australia (preferred).
