CAIRNS SPORTS INJURY TREATMENT

Cairns sport injury treatment is something we are passionate about at Wellness Embodied. We can assess and manage everything from sprains and strains, to providing rehabilitation for ACL tears, fractures, tendon problems and scar pain treatment. Our Cairns sport injury treatment, assessment and management will help you get back to action.

SPRAIN

A sprain is perhaps one of the most common Cairns sports injuries we see presenting at Wellness Embodied. They range in severity from mild to severe, depending on how the injury is impacting the client. Rehabilitation focuses on restoring joint and soft tissue range of motion, strength and stability.

STRAIN

Strains can range from: pain with no injury to the muscle, to a full thickness tear. They can occur in the muscle belly, where the muscle meets the tendon, and in the tendon itself. Rehabilitation focuses on reducing pain, restoring muscle strength and length, and reducing risk of re-injury.

TEARS & TENDONS

Our Physiotherapist Alyza has completed further postgraduate Sports Physiotherapy training. She is passionate about providing professional Cairns sport injury treatment and rehabilitation for everything from an ACL tear, to fractures, tendon problems, sprains, strains and more.

Our team are trained and experienced in a range of modalities and will tailor an integrated solution for effective Cairns sports injury treatment. We combine use of our modern rehab gym with hands on care and individualised assessments, to get you on the correct pathway to return to play, sooner, while avoiding further injuries in the process.
