We treat the person not just the body part. We will support you on your journey back to wellness.

WORKCOVER SERVICES

Our Cairns WorkCover Injury Management services are tailored to suit individual needs and provided with a focus on optimising recovery and return to work. If you’re seeking treatment for a workplace injury, and have completed the necessary claim forms and had the claim accepted, we can bill WorkCover directly for 100% of your treatment with no out of pocket expenses. This generally covers up to six sessions. Please note we will need your WorkCover Claim number.

INTEGRATED TREATMENT

Our team of Allied Health providers includes experienced physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, occupational therapists, provisional psychologists, remedial massage therapists and a naturopath. We have several clinics, including two in Cairns city, one on the southside and one in Cooktown. We have a Rehab Gym, Concussion Clinic and comprehensive range of specialised equipment to support your Cairns workplace injury rehabilitation.

WHAT WE CAN HELP WITH

We can treat a range of injuries and conditions through our Cairns WorkCover Injury Management services. This includes, but is not limited to, spinal pain, limb and joint pain, whiplash, concussion and post-concussion syndrome, headaches, vertigo, stress and anxiety, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, osteoarthritis, long-COVID treatment and more. We provide comprehensive care and if your presenting condition needs more than the 6 WorkCover sessions, we will submit a plan for further treatment.

WE WILL SUPPORT YOU

We will support you throughout our Cairns WorkCover Injury Management services. Our physiotherapists offer physical rehabilitation and pain management techniques for injury recovery. Our exercise physiologist can tailor a program to aid in strengthening and recovery. Osteopaths provide holistic treatment focusing on the relief of musculoskeletal pain and improving body mechanics.

Provisional psychologists provide mental health support and strategies to cope with workplace stress and injury, and our occupational therapists will support and assist you to regain skills and make the adaptations necessary for workplace re-entry.

WHY CHOOSE US

Our Allied Health team is dedicated to ensuring the best possible recovery outcomes for workplace injuries. Our Director, Suzanne Rath, has a strong belief that you shouldn’t need to case-manage your own recovery journey – and that’s based on her own personal experience.

At Wellness Embodied, we are dedicated to assisting clients in achieving their health goals, especially after reaching a plateau in injury or illness recovery. Our Cairns WorkCover Injury Management services are tailored to each individual and delivered with a focus on optimising overall health, for the mind and body.
