If you are unable to attend your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. Providing sufficient notice allows us to offer your appointment time to another patient who may be waiting for care or require an urgent appointment.
We require a minimum of 24 business hours’ notice for any appointment cancellation or rescheduling request (excluding NDIS participants – see below).
Please note that our clinic is closed on weekends. As weekends are not considered business hours, they do not count towards the required notice period. For example, if you have a Monday appointment, any cancellation or rescheduling request received after close of business on Friday will be considered a late cancellation.
Late cancellation (less than 24 business hours’ notice): $80 fee
Missed appointments: Full appointment fee
NDIS appointments: as per NDIS guidelines, appointments require 2 clear business days for cancellations, including rescheduling to avoid the appointment fee being charged.
The patient is responsible for all payment of accounts at Wellness Embodied, including if an insurance scheme, compensation claim or fund fails to pay on their behalf.
Wellness Embodied reserves the right to discharge patients who frequently cancel or miss appointments.
Please understand these policies are in place to ensure our therapists can serve our community best. We understand that genuine emergencies can arise unexpectedly. Exceptional circumstances may be reviewed at the discretion of management.
