LOW LEVEL LASER THERAPY CAIRNS

Low Level Laser Therapy is a non-invasive, drug-free treatment that helps to reduce pain, inflammation and swelling. This science-backed technology will not only support your body’s natural healing process it will promote faster recovery from both acute and chronic conditions. Our Low Level Laser Therapy Cairns treatment is safe, painless and suitable for clients of all ages.

HOW DOES IT WORK

We use the Handy Cure Super Pulsed Low Level Laser for our treatment. This device combines super pulsed laser, infrared, visible red light and magnetic fields, to stimulate healing at a cellular level. The combination of these elements makes it particularly effective for both acute injuries (like sprains and muscle tears) and chronic conditions (including but not limited to arthritis, tendonitis and lymphoedema).

WHAT CAN IT HELP

Our Low Level Laser Therapy Cairns treatment, also known as photobiomodulation and cold laser therapy, is ideal for treating a range of conditions including joint pain and stiffness, musculoskeletal pain, soft tissue injury, post-surgery swelling, migraine and tension headaches and more (see below). It is widely used in physiotherapy, sports medicine and rehabilitation.

YOUR TREATMENT

Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is comfortable, quick and relaxing. During your session at Wellness Embodied, one of our physiotherapists will apply the Handy Cure laser directly to the affected area. You may feel gentle warmth, but there’s no pain or downtime. Most treatments take 5–15 minutes, depending on the size of the area and condition being treated.

Low Level Laser Therapy Cairns Benefits

At Wellness Embodied, we always use science-backed technology to support your body’s natural healing processes. Some of the benefits of our Low Level Laser Therapy Cairns are:

  • Increased Circulation: Laser light promotes microcirculation and oxygen delivery to tissues.
  • Reduced Inflammation: It decreases the production of inflammatory molecules and encourages faster tissue repair.
  • Pain Modulation: The light stimulates endorphin release and reduces nerve sensitivity.
  • Accelerated Healing: Enhanced cellular energy (ATP production) speeds up recovery in tendons, ligaments, muscles, and joints.

Please note: the Handy Cure Super Pulsed Laser is TGA-approved for use in Australia and has a long track record of safety and effectiveness. Because it’s non-invasive, there are no side effects and no interference with medications.

Our team integrates laser therapy with other evidence-based approaches such as physiotherapy, osteopathy and massage therapy to provide a comprehensive recovery plan tailored to your needs.
