Pia Madarang is an experienced physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of the City of Manila, a leading institution in the Philippines. With over six years of clinical experience at Makati Medical Centre, Pia has developed expertise in musculoskeletal injuries, acute care, stroke rehabilitation, and pre- and post-operative joint rehabilitation. She also gained international experience in Ireland, working as a rehabilitation and care assistant in a brain injury facility, broadening her skills in neurological rehabilitation.
Pia is passionate about helping people manage pain and recover from injuries. She is dedicated to using a patient-centred approach, tailoring her treatments to meet the unique needs of each individual. In addition to her current skills, she is committed to continuous professional development, actively seeking opportunities to expand her knowledge and stay current with the latest advances in physiotherapy.
Pia speaks Filipino and English and outside of work, Pia enjoys the outdoors, especially the beach, which led her to fall in love with Cairns and its tropical beauty. In her free time, she loves cooking, reading books, and swimming.
