We now have gym balls for sale at Wellness Embodied!

Gym balls are for people of different ages and with different functional levels. They are used in fitness, rehabilitation and prevention.
They are for kids and adults, just ask for the correct sizing from our friendly staff.
They are useful for people with different problems, including back pain, decreased joint range of motion, muscle tightness, or for those who want to make their training more challenging.

Here are some ideas on how to use them:

Gym ball to improve range of motion: 
If you have problems with your range of motion, for example decreased shoulder or knee range of motion, you can do exercises with a gym ball to improve your joint range.
Gym ball for stretches: 
There are so many stretches where you can use the gym ball, just ask your physiotherapist to tailor a program especially for you.
Gym ball for improving your muscle strength: 
The use of gym balls to improve muscle strength is extensive. You can use a gym ball to make your strengthening exercises easier, or to add an unstable surface and make your exercises more difficult. People with different levels of fitness can incorporate exercises with a gym ball into their everyday routine. Some of the examples are squats using a gym ball or supporting your legs or arms on a gym ball when you are doing core strengthening workout.
Gym ball for kids to make exercises more fun: 

Using a big ball to do training is so much more fun for the kids. Parental guidance is recommended. See our recent Facebook post on using a gym ball for kids here.

We have 3 sizes of gym balls for sale in both of our clinics. They have a ribbed anti-slip surface and feel pleasant to touch.  The sizes are 55 cm, 65 cm and 75 cm diameter. And good news is that the pump comes with the ball!
